Who we are
RevIT (“we”, “us”) operates ridewithrevit.com and the RevIT mobile apps — a community events board for motorcycle riders. Questions about this policy: support@ridewithrevit.com.
What we collect
- Account info — email, username, password (stored hashed by our auth provider, Supabase). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email and name from them.
- Profile content you choose to share — bio, home city, bike, photos, banner, links.
- Content you post — event flyers, details, photos, and chat messages. These are visible to other members.
- Approximate location — only if you grant permission, and only to pick your home riding area (metro). We don’t track or store your movements.
- Payment info — handled entirely by Stripe (web) or Apple/Google (apps). We never see or store your card number; we store only your subscription status.
- Push subscriptions — if you enable event reminders, we store the delivery token needed to send them.
How we use it
- Run the service: show events in your area, deliver reminders you asked for, process your membership.
- Safety: every uploaded image is automatically scanned for explicit content (Sightengine) and malware (VirusTotal) before it goes live.
- Email you: account emails (password reset, username reminders) and support replies, sent via Resend from ridewithrevit.com addresses.
- We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers.
Who we share it with
Only the processors that make the app work: Supabase (database & auth), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Apple/Google (app-store payments), Sightengine & VirusTotal (upload scanning), Resend (email). Each receives only what it needs.
Your choices & rights
- Delete your account anytime from Account settings (web or app). This cancels billing, and permanently removes your profile, events, photos, and messages.
- Edit or remove your profile details and posts whenever you like.
- Revoke location or notification permissions in your device settings.
- Email support@ridewithrevit.com for a copy of your data or any privacy request.
Data retention & security
We keep your data while your account exists and delete it when you delete your account (backups purge on a rolling basis). Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, and passwords are never stored in plain text.
Children
RevIT is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we’ll post the update here and adjust the effective date above.
